About Convertur

People often need a converter for personal files: a tax PDF, a camera roll, a voice note, a contact export, or a work spreadsheet. Convertur does the processing on your device, so a simple task never means handing that file to us.

You also skip the usual hassle. There is no account, no install, and no hard upload limit. What you can process depends on your browser, your device memory, and how complex the file is.

Convert images and camera RAW files. Edit and reorder PDFs. Prepare documents, convert audio and video, open or create archives, move data between formats, and use developer tools. Some tools use WebAssembly or machine learning models that run in the browser. They download the engine first, then do the work locally.

Code running in the page reads the file you choose. The converted result is created in that same page for you to download. Large conversion engines and model data may come from Convertur or a content delivery service, but your source file is not sent with those requests. Our Privacy Policy covers this in detail.

Convertur publishes the tools, guides, glossary and blog on this site as one brand. Articles and guides are written and reviewed by the Convertur team and credited to Convertur rather than to individual bylines.
