The tools are provided as is, without any warranty that a conversion will be complete, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. A file can convert without an error and still lose quality, metadata, layout, fonts, formulas, timing, color or other details. Open and check every result before you share it, submit it or delete the original.

Keep a copy of important originals. Convertur doesn't store your files, so we can't recover a file that was lost or damaged on your device.

Guides, blog posts, glossary entries and tool pages explain file formats in general terms. They are not legal, security, archival or compliance advice. If a file must meet a legal, regulatory, court, medical or records-keeping requirement, check the result with the organization that sets that requirement.

Privacy tools such as metadata removal and HAR sanitizing remove the fields they describe, but a file can hold personal information in other places, including the visible content itself. Review a file yourself before you publish it.

Background removal, text recognition and other model-based tools can make mistakes or miss content. Treat their output as a draft and review it before you rely on it.

You are responsible for having the right to convert, edit or unlock the files and fonts you use. Removing restrictions from a PDF or converting a commercial font may not be allowed by its owner or license.
