Terms of Service
Last updated July 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Convertur. By accessing or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Convertur provides
Convertur provides free browser-based tools for converting and working with images, PDFs, documents, audio, video, archives, fonts, structured data, and developer text. No account is required. Conversion ordinarily happens on your device; see the Privacy Policy for the exact data boundary and runtime-asset exceptions.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove a tool or the service at any time. We do not promise that every format, file, browser, or device will be supported, or that the service will always be available.
Your files and responsibilities
You keep ownership of files and content you use with Convertur. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to process, transform, or download that content and for checking the result before relying on, sharing, publishing, or deleting an original file.
Conversion can change quality, metadata, layout, fonts, formulas, timing, colour, compatibility, or other file characteristics. Keep a backup of important originals. Convertur is not an archival, backup, records-management, digital-signature, or secure-storage service.
Acceptable use
You must not use Convertur to:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- process content you are not authorised to use;
- interfere with, overload, probe, bypass, or compromise the site or its security;
- automate abusive requests, scrape the service in a way that harms its operation, or misuse the contact form; or
- introduce malicious code or use the service to develop or distribute harmful material.
No professional advice or guaranteed output
Convertur's tools and educational content provide general information and file-processing utilities. They are not legal, medical, financial, compliance, accessibility, forensic, or other professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether an output is accurate and suitable for your purpose.
Intellectual property
Convertur's site design, branding, software, text, and other service content are owned by the operator or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. These terms let you use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership or permit you to copy, resell, or misrepresent the service. Third-party software and formats may be governed by their own licences and rights.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Convertur is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and compatibility. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Convertur will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, files, profits, revenue, business, or opportunities arising from the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use Convertur in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow every exclusion or limit, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Ending use and enforcing these terms
You may stop using Convertur at any time. We may restrict access or take other reasonable action if we believe these terms have been violated or the service, its users, or others are at risk. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive the end of your use.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above shows the latest revision, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. For questions, email hello@sajam.dev or use the contact page.
