Privacy Policy

Files you select, text you paste, conversion settings, and converted results are processed in your browser. They are not sent to Convertur's servers. Results remain in the page's memory until you remove them, refresh or close the page, or the browser releases that memory. Downloads are saved only when you ask your browser to save them.

If you explicitly enable the persistent local workspace, completed results are also written to this browser's origin-private file system so they can survive a refresh. The files remain on this device, are subject to browser storage limits, and are deleted when you turn the workspace off, clear it, or clear Convertur's site data.

Some tools need conversion software, language data, or machine- learning models. Those resources may be downloaded to your browser from Convertur or a third-party content-delivery service. Your input file is still processed on your device and is not sent back with those resource requests.

Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, message, and submission time you provide. We use this information to read, manage, and reply to your request.

Service and security data. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Requests may generate technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

Browser preferences. Your theme preference is stored in local storage on your device. A short-lived session-storage value may also prevent repeated reloads when a new version of the site is deployed. These values do not identify an account because Convertur does not offer user accounts.

Offline resources. If you choose to cache a conversion engine, the browser stores Convertur application and WebAssembly files for offline use. Cached engines do not contain your input files and can be removed from the workspace settings or browser site-data controls.

Convertur does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, run third-party analytics, or use your files for advertising. We do not sell personal information. If those practices change, this policy will be updated before they are introduced where required.

Cloudflare hosts and delivers Convertur, stores contact submissions in Cloudflare KV, and serves large conversion-engine assets from Cloudflare R2. Certain tools may download runtime assets from third-party delivery services, including jsDelivr or the providers used by browser-based OCR and image-model libraries. Those providers receive ordinary request data when your browser fetches an asset, but not the file you asked Convertur to process.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. We do not disclose your files because we do not receive them.

Contact-form submissions expire from our KV storage after 90 days. We may keep an email conversation longer when needed to resolve a request, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Cloudflare controls retention of its own security and diagnostic records under its practices.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid including confidential files or sensitive personal information in a contact message.

You can clear Convertur's local browser data through your browser settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal information we hold. To make a request, email hello@sajam.dev. We may need to verify that the request relates to you.

Convertur is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit personal information through the contact form if you are not old enough to consent under the law where you live. Cloudflare may process service data in countries other than your own as part of its global network.
