Privacy Policy

Files you select, text you paste, conversion settings, and converted results are processed in your browser. They are not sent to Convertur's servers. Results stay in the page's memory until you remove them, refresh or close the page, or the browser frees that memory. Downloads are saved only when you ask your browser to save them.

If you turn on the persistent local workspace, completed results are also written to this browser's origin-private file system, so they can survive a refresh. The files stay on this device and are subject to browser storage limits. They are deleted when you turn the workspace off, clear it, or clear Convertur's site data.

Some tools need conversion software, language data, or machine learning models. Your browser may download those from Convertur or a third-party content delivery service. Your input file is still processed on your device. It is not sent with those requests.

Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, plus the time you sent it. We use this information to read, manage, and reply to your request.

Service and security data. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Requests may create technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, the requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

Browser preferences. Your theme choice is saved in local storage on your device. A short-lived session storage value may also stop repeated reloads when we deploy a new version of the site. These values don't identify an account, because Convertur has no user accounts.

Offline resources. If you choose to cache a conversion engine, the browser stores Convertur app and WebAssembly files for offline use. Cached engines don't contain your input files. You can remove them in the workspace settings or in your browser's site data controls.

Convertur uses a first-party analytics endpoint at an.convertur.com to understand overall site usage and reliability. That endpoint may receive normal request data such as the page URL, referrer, browser type, and approximate region. It never receives the files, pasted content, or conversion results you process in a tool.

Convertur doesn't use advertising trackers and doesn't use your files for advertising. We don't sell personal information.

Cloudflare hosts and delivers Convertur, stores contact form submissions in Cloudflare KV, and serves large conversion engine files from Cloudflare R2. Some tools may download runtime files from third-party delivery services, including jsDelivr or the providers used by in-browser OCR and image model libraries. Those providers receive normal request data when your browser fetches a file from them. They don't receive the file you asked Convertur to process.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. We don't disclose your files, because we never receive them.

Contact form submissions expire from our KV storage after 90 days. We may keep an email conversation longer when we need it to resolve a request, keep business records, or meet legal obligations. Cloudflare decides how long it keeps its own security and diagnostic records, under its own practices.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or storage system can be guaranteed fully secure. Please don't include confidential files or sensitive personal information in a contact message.

You can clear Convertur's local browser data in your browser settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal information we hold. To make a request, email hello@sajam.dev. We may need to check that the request relates to you.

Convertur is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are not old enough to consent under the law where you live, please don't submit personal information through the contact form. Cloudflare may process service data in countries other than your own as part of its global network.
