How to change text case

Paste a phrase into the box and every common case appears at once, each with its own copy button. UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case and Sentence case are there for writing. camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, CONSTANT_CASE, kebab-case and dot.case are there for code. Click copy next to the one you need, so there is no retyping names by hand.

Splits existing names into words

The converter reads camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case input, so it can re-case names correctly. getUserID becomes get_user_id or GET-USER-ID.

For developers and writers

Rename variables to match a codebase, clean up CSV headers or fix a heading with mixed capitals. Each result has its own copy button.

Naming conventions in code

Different languages and tools expect different styles. JavaScript and Java use camelCase for variables and PascalCase for classes, Python and Ruby use snake_case, constants and environment variables use CONSTANT_CASE, and URLs and CSS classes use kebab-case. Converting a name once and copying the right style avoids typos when you move code between them.
