Loop Video
Loop a video by repeating it 2 to 20 times back to back, and save the full loop as a widely compatible MP4. Nothing is uploaded.
How to loop a video
Drop a video above and set Total plays, from 2 to 20. Press Convert and download the MP4. A 10-second clip set to 6 plays becomes one 60-second video. The loop is written into the file, so it repeats in every player, on Instagram, in slides and in apps that have no loop button.
Why build the loop into the file
MP4 has no loop flag the way a GIF does. Some platforms loop short videos on their own, but many players, presentation apps and upload forms play a clip once and stop. Repeating it inside the file solves that, and it is also the easiest way to stretch a short animation or background clip to a required minimum length.
Encoding
FFmpeg reads the clip the chosen number of times and encodes the result once as H.264 with AAC audio, so there is no gap at the joins and the audio repeats with the picture. The file grows with each play. For background loops on a website, a single play with the loop attribute on the video element keeps the page lighter.
Processed on your device
Loop a video by repeating it 2 to 20 times back to back, and save the full loop as a widely compatible MP4. A media engine inside your browser does the work, so the video never leaves your device.
Works in your browser
Video encoding runs in this browser tab, on your own device. There is no upload and no queue. Your device does all the work, so a large or long clip can take a minute or more.
Before you start
Input: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, and M4V. Output: MP4. The settings appear before anything runs, so you can check them first. Your original file is never changed.
Video work uses a lot of memory and CPU. Try a short clip first and check that the sound and playback work. On a phone, split large batches into smaller ones.
Keep the original until you have opened and checked the result. The work happens in this browser tab, so the size you can handle depends on your device's memory, your browser and the file itself.
How to use the loop Video
