Merge Videos
Merge videos online. Combine two or more clips from any phone or camera into one MP4 in your browser, in the order you add them. Nothing is uploaded.
How to merge videos
Drop two or more videos into the box above in the order they should play. The first one goes into the queue and the rest are listed under Additional videos. You can also add more with the file picker. Press Convert and download the merged MP4. Clips play back to back with no transition between them.
Clips of different sizes and formats
The clips don't need to match. Every clip is scaled to fit the size of the first one, with black bars where the shape differs, and converted to 30 frames per second. Audio is resampled to 48 kHz, and a clip with no sound gets silence for its length so the picture and sound stay in sync. The joined result is encoded once as H.264 with AAC audio.
Speed and memory
Merging re-encodes every frame on your device, so it takes about as long as converting all the clips. Several short phone clips merge in a minute or two on a laptop. For long or 4K videos, compress or resize them first, and close other tabs to free memory.
Processed on your device
Merge videos online. Combine two or more clips from any phone or camera into one MP4 in your browser, in the order you add them. A media engine inside your browser does the work, so the video never leaves your device.
Works in your browser
Video encoding runs in this browser tab, on your own device. There is no upload and no queue. Your device does all the work, so a large or long clip can take a minute or more.
Before you start
Input: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, and M4V. Output: MP4. The settings appear before anything runs, so you can check them first. Your original file is never changed.
Video work uses a lot of memory and CPU. Try a short clip first and check that the sound and playback work. On a phone, split large batches into smaller ones.
Keep the original until you have opened and checked the result. The work happens in this browser tab, so the size you can handle depends on your device's memory, your browser and the file itself.
