How to resize a video

Drop a video above, choose a preset from the Aspect preset menu and press Convert. The clip is scaled to fit inside the new frame and saved as an H.264 MP4 with AAC audio. Download it and upload it to the platform the preset is named for.

Resize video without stretching it

The video is scaled to fit and padded with black bars where the aspect ratio differs. Nothing is stretched, so people and objects keep their correct shape. A horizontal clip placed in the 9:16 story frame gets bars above and below. To fill the frame instead, crop the clip first with Crop Video.

About encoding

Before you start

How to resize a video for YouTube, Reels or TikTok
