What extracting pages does

You list the pages to keep. The tool builds a new PDF with only those pages, in document order. Use it to share a few pages without sending the whole file.

How to extract pages from a PDF

Drop the PDF above and check the page count shown next to it. Type the pages you want, as single numbers and ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3,7,10-12. Press Extract pages and download the new file. Page numbers past the end of the document are skipped, and a page listed twice is only included once.

Extract, split or delete?

Extract gives you one new PDF with the pages you list. Split gives you several files at once. Delete removes pages and keeps everything else. If you want a small part of a long file, listing what to keep is faster than listing what to remove. Extract works well for pulling one form, invoice or chapter out of a large report.

Page quality

Pages are copied as they are. Text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded and images keep their full resolution.

Before you start

Input: PDF. Output: Extracted PDF. The settings appear before anything runs, so you can check them first. Your original file is never changed.

If layout, notes, forms, signatures or fonts matter, check the new PDF page by page. A file that opens is not the same as a file that looks right.

Keep the original until you have opened and checked the result. The work happens in this browser tab, so the size you can handle depends on your device's memory, your browser and the file itself.

Steps to extract pages from a PDF

4. Download the new PDF with just those pages.
