What does rotating and flipping do?
Rotating turns the whole image by 90°, 180° or 270°. Flipping mirrors it across the horizontal or vertical axis. Both are lossless geometric transforms.
Why rotate or flip an image?
Fix a photo taken sideways, correct a mirrored selfie, or reorient a scan. It's the quickest way to get an image the right way up before sharing or printing.
Quality & compatibility notes
The output keeps the source format. 90° rotations and flips don't resample pixels, so there's no quality loss beyond the final re-encode.
