What this tool does
It lets you preview an audio file and select a start and end time, then exports only that portion — keeping the original format and quality by copying the stream where possible.
Why trim in the browser?
There's no upload wait and no privacy concern: your file is read locally, cut with ffmpeg, and the trimmed clip is handed straight back to you.
Lossless trimming
For most formats the selected range is stream-copied without re-encoding, so the clip retains the exact quality of the original.
How to trim audio
- Drop an audio file — it loads into the preview player.
- Drag the Start and End sliders to frame your clip.
